Who am I?
Hello! I’m Sierra, a travel-loving solo traveler born and raised in California who moved across the country to New York City at age 21. I lived in NYC for nearly a decade before moving up to Connecticut. After moving out of the city, I transitioned from working as a freelancer to a full-time job in healthcare marketing.
Living on the East Coast has provided me with some amazing opportunities to travel, being in such close proximity to Europe and the rest of the world.
Why did I start this travel blog?
In the summer of 2015, I went on a two-month solo European adventure. That experience was largely what inspired me to start this blog!
I enjoy documenting what I see around the world through photography and storytelling. After my big Europe trip, I was inspired to create comprehensive travel guides to help spark the spirit of adventure in others.
Travel has been my greatest teacher. Getting to know other cultures, countries, and languages brings me a lot of joy. I’ve always loved exploring new places and was bitten by the travel bug at a very young age.
